enom reseller questions

I have been looking into the enom API, wanting to make some scripts that use it, but after making a few searches it seems that to use the API i need a reseller account, and i need to deposit cash to get one of those.

Is there a way to get access to the API for free? The cost per domain dont really matter, i just want access to use the API, and register domains with it.
