![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Recommend reseller programs to join? I'm looking for some recommendations of domain reseller programs by those that have used them. I am not much interested in any program that requires a fee like Godaddy does, or a large account deposit. I want to get some better prices for my domain purchases and renewals and also generate money by getting customers to buy and renew on my site, which has about 25M expired domains listed. To make this more usable for others, please post the name of the reseller in the post so it can be spotted right away. Example:
Thanks! | ||||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Depends how much you want to pay for domains, you can get a eNom Reseller account for just $100 through NamePros (see 'Domain Services' on the menu bar at the top of the page), but then .com domains cost $8.95pa. If you get a GD reseller, .com domains cost $6.74 but you have a $199pa fee, you can get GD reseller accounts for cheaper from GoDaddy super-resellers ($60/$160) but then .com will cost about $7.43. Some eNom resellers are offering reseller accounts with $7.45 .com fees for around $250 (The Watcher here on NamePros is one). Generally, the more you're willing to pay in advance or as an annual fee, the cheaper your domains will be. If you're going to sell at $9.99 and be happy making $1 per domain then I'd say get an eNom reseller account through NamePros

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | edit: was the second part of your question there originally or did you edit? I can offer my opinion on GD reseller: Pros- -cheaper registration for yourself -you get a cut of all sales (you set prices within a realistic min./max. range) ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=407756 -relatively cheap and easy to get started -GD provide all the technology and accept the creditcard/paypal payments for you -GD handle customer service (unless you choose them not to) -you can actually undercut GoDaddy without coupons (I just use my own reseller account for $6.95 .coms without looking for a GD coupon) Cons- -GD charge an annual fee to be a reseller (although 'Super Resellers' are able to offer the reseller packages at a discount- for example see my dnReseller.biz where GD's $99.99 reseller is only $60pa) -Ugly interface (much like the GD homepage) -Difficult to customise

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks S~ for following the suggested format. I was not aware of the Namepros programs and had forgotten about the one at eNom. Maybe I'm asking for too much, but I would like to get the domain cost down with little or no fee. I think the costs of having a reseller is quite low for a registrar and that it should be treated more as a partnership by both parties.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | http://resellers.mediawiz.biz (my site) No signup / min. balance / annual renewal fees for the account. Backed by one of the fastest growing registrars - PDR (Resellerclub / Directi) who also own Skenzo so quite stable. Flip side, no lists of expired domains either

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | EstDomains.com seems to have a reseller program and the posted prices are really good. But I don't see any details about their program like fees, minimum investment, etc. Any feedback about them?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I forgot to mention... we also offer free privacy for all domains booked through us. Plus we have a multi tier reseller system - you can have your own resellers. And we offer a buy out to highest slab for a flat fee.

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=407756 If you plan to use them though, a word of thumb as this happened to me is, make sure you pay using the email listed on the account when using paypal. I had to send them my ID.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | AzN, So, if you are considering DirectI, is there any reason not to go with an account at Resellerclub.com? I was interested in Estdomains because they had some of the lowest pricing. Are they just showing the lowest prices for the highest slab? Did you just use Estdomains or did you have a reseller account there?

![]() | Reseller or affiliate? I think affiliate may be better than reseller though I am very familier with domain affiliate network

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have not been very good as an affiliate. I have tried several programs and sites and it just has not worked well for me yet. I am an affiliate for DirectNIC, but despite the fact that they charge $15 a year they only pay $0.50 for a sale. So not only do they over charge by today's standards, they also don't pay an affiliate enough. Also, as an affiliate, even if I could get commission on my registrations and renewals, I don't think I would save as much as I can if I get the right reseller account. Since my total renewal fees are going to run about $2,500 this year, I need to save as much as I can! ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=407756 So far, being a domainer is much more interesting to me. No, I'm not getting rish, but domaining is partly about investing for the future. I guess affiliates can say they are doing that as well, since a good site can someday be sold for quite a bit of money.

![]() ![]() | I am also experimenting with the reseller program as an affiliate equivalent, just started. Earlier I used it only for purchasing domains for my own use.
