How do I register a typo like wwwdomainname.com ?

the domain you would register would be www.wwwdomainname.com

You could even register www.wwwdomainnamecom.com if you wanted because wwwdomainname.com is already registered since Nov 11, 1999

If you have wwwdomainname.com then www.wwwdomainname.com and wwwdomainname.com is refer to one page.

Its not hard. In the box where you would usually type in domainname.com intstead type in wwwdomainname.com

When I said how do I register a typo, I meant a domain like wwwtemplates.com. I tried registering the domain without the . , but it automatically adds the . to the domain. I don't want www.wwwdomainname.com, I want to register wwwdomainname.com.

a domain name basically is something.com / .net / .org or other extension without anything in front.

1st statement clear?

and anything in front abc.something.com or www.something.com or iloveyou.something.com or wap.something.com
all = subdomains...

you can create any subdomain with your webhost on the domains you own, the features come together with the webhost.

most people put www. infront.. you just imagine it as long long time ago, the www is the default subdomain and most widely used ones for domain names, which stands for world wide web.

just because most people practice the usage of www, like saying hello when you meet people. and even most of the host also will auto add the www. infront as a default for your domain too.

which means... when you get wwwyoursite.com is the same as www.wwwyoursite.com, while you also can create others like forum.wwwyoursite.com / games.wwwyoursite.com as you wish.

but if you owned a site like wwwgoogle.com or wwwyahoo.com you can get a lot of traffic. I have so many friends that always type in www. before every domain name, and as much as i tell them it doesnt matter, they still do it. And it is common for someone to forget the " . "

But it does matter if the server isn't configured correctly. I always use www.

Sometimes, when I'm typing without a care, for google, I type googel.com. It might be another highly visited one. I usually correct myself before hitting return though. Still might get a lot.
