![]() | 11 new domains parked. now what ok so i finally get parked.com on the go. enter in my 11 domains, change the DNS and wait...YAY ADVERTS. i read the tos carefully so i know not to advertise the sites, click on them myself etc. ok now what. 4 hours and 0 hits. well that makes sense because they are freshly registered. will traffic hit them eventually? or was this a mistake and should i have bought older domains that were already getting hits/expired is there any LEGAL way, as not to break the TOS to get my site traffic? am i a sitting dead in the water? or does it just take time to creep in the pennies |

My advice, look at the domains and find one which you could develop into something, if you don't have much experience then learn some stuff. Place ads on the site or sell stuff, do whatever you want, just try make it pay for itself at first. Once this is done your on your way to buying your next domain... and so on and so on.... What i'm trying to say is don't concentrate on parking just 11 names. Develop sites, build up your portfolio and eventually if you work hard enough you will have money flowing. |

With only 11 domains you may have better output if you develop them - you can find enough free CMS stuff and templates, content etc. Or you have an option to use services like WhyPark.

i actually thought about what was said in this thread for awhile and i realized a mistake i made..out of those 11 domains i guess it is only 2 1 set is .com .net .info .org and .ca all the same name I added the word "THE" in front of those names and registered the extensions as well. im thinking on taking out the 2 . coms redirecting one to the other and making a site. eventually out of curiosity someone might check the other extensions giving me some type of revenue ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/403045-11-new-domains-parked-now-what.html so all those domains would be labeled 1. i have a separate one in there as well. that makes 2. mistakes mistakes mistakes. im not easily put down. i refuse to give up. makes me mad tho also, im free to advertise the .com extensions if they are not parked. = )

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 4 hours - no clicks . Its happening very often for brand new domain. Usually people park used/dropped/expired domains, which already have got some natural traffic and hope for clicks. I hope you registered domains with a registrar which allows a domain grace period (you can delete it within 4 days and get your money back). On another hands you could develop domain into mini site,, submit to search engines, advertise a little bit as a website, and then park it.

![]() | More to the point if you were able to get all three top tld extensions for the domain as well as the .ca that tells me the domains are probably junk to begin with. And adding "the" to it probably didn't help. That's just an educated guess I don't mean to offend Even if they had traffic it takes dns servers up to a week to catch up sometimes. But most are updated within 72 hours. |
