![]() | How much for a 1999 domain? Let's say someone has access to a domain that was created in 1999 for an affordable price. But the domain has no PR, no traffic and the domain name isn't all that brandable. Would it be worth buying and would you make a decent profit off of it? Thanks. |

Sure, older domains tend to rank better in search, but its really not worth the investment if there is nothing else to work with.

![]() ![]() | May be YES! Many companies who are interested in buying just a domain name and not a website, prefers to buy a name which is like an old wine. It is much easier for the new compan y then to create a brand from there onwards.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 1999 is not a bad year, but also not outstanding enough to push aside that the domain name, its usability and quality are of importance. Traffic and PR do very well count, especially if your domain has no special markings that would make it an easy or considerably manageable resell. IB |
