| New Member | hi i am new to the domains so i would like to ask about .com and .net the domain i am willing to register is registered .com but available .net and the .com has a blog but no page rank on it and no updates on the blog. .net is available to register i was willing to buy the .com but not sure if the owner well sale it. so what do you think dos it worth to register .net or i could find some one to contact the owner for me any advice is welcomed .. thanks Sydney |

| NamePros Regular | Dot com is king. Your much better off with the dot com over the dot net. In case of value dot net is usually the second best extension. If you register the dot net then try and buy the dot com the seller may do a search and notice you just bought the dot net. This may cause the seller to ask a higher price. Is the dot com you want listed for sale?

| NamePros Regular | Are you looking to develop? You could email the owner and start from there. Of course the owner could then reg the .net on you. It's a tough situation. Another name perhaps?
