Nothing is wrong with it, lots of sites have this "problem" you should standardize the way you build links to either include the "www" or without the "www". Should also set up a permanent redirect from one of the versions to the way you want your site to always appear.

What Brian says is right......
Standardise the format of your link pages...
You either lik to your pages as http://www.mysite.com/pagename.html
or http://mysite.com/pagename.html or whatever is your directory or page name.

Now just be carerul even while adding your site to search engines. Just use one format of the address...

Add this to your htaccess
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/393147-pagerank-question.html

Quote:
RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^abc.com[NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.abc.com/$1 [L,R=301]
Should do the trick.

Google often updates to ensure that both versions have the same page rank- canonicalization.

If you do have a webmaster Tools account, you can specify your preferred domain.
