I'm sure this applies to quite a few newbies such as myself.

You get a few decent names, and then realise that unless it's an absolute beauty, you have little chance of selling them for some decent dollars or in my case British pounds, so you think to yourself, ok then, how do I take the next step, and get one or two or more of these domain names developed into a fully fledged website, to attract more traffic and hopefully of course, revenue?

Where does one go to, to create something simply and easily where too, one does not get overwhelmed, with taking on board too much new knowledge?

Here is a list of my domain names, is it possible for one or two of you guys to advise me, on the next best possible steps I can take, and which names do you think have possibly the most legs, to give me a good degree of ROI (return on investment)?

Your help and assistance with this would be really appreciated!

RegisterName.mobi (for those wanting to register domain names or similar whilst away from their laptops and on the move, this one I think is a good choice)

1st2nd3rd.mobi (sports results on your mobile phone, racing, betting etc, also think this one has some legs)

1st2nd3rd.co.uk (to use in conjunction with the above)

So, from the choice above, which one/s do you think are my best bet?

Does any one of them stand out to you as being worthy of development and if so, precisely how do I go about this, i.e. hosting, website design, etc?

Can you provide any good sites to use?

Any assistance given would be very much appreciated or indeed, if I can partner with someone trustworthy who knows a lot more than I, who would be willing to lend a hand, perhaps we could broker a partnership deal between us, that is fair to both parties?

Any thoughts please?

If you want to earn some decent money from your names than the first thing to do is develop them up...
Choose a name from your portfolio which you think you will be able to write alot about it...
Than create a blog with Wordpress or Blogger...
Start posting articles everyday...Atleast 1 or 2 articles...
Put adverts of Ad-Sense or Bidvertiser or other Pay Per click adverts....

Now, start publishing your blog and your articles to directories like Digg.com (very useful for gaining traffic)
or Del.icio.us

And than just continue the process again and again...and youll see you can make some income...

But, if you want to gain more traffic...You'll need to put your website in Google's top rankings....To do this, youll need SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)
Many people in namepros here are giving this service for about $700 or $1000 to hourly charges...
I can also do it for you for $400 ....
This way, your site will be in top ranks when someone searches something which is related to your keywords....And you can gain more traffic...
But,you will need to invest in order to gain more money....


SafePetCare.co.uk - You can develop this,putting articles for Pets etc...As I see, pets are really a basic need these days in the Western World ... LOL !
SupplyWood.com - You can put a directory of exporters for Wood and Timber maybe..Not a good choice and maybe it can click never know ..

By the way, I can see you dont have many .com names......Com's are really preferred compared to other TLDS ....

Writing, is no problem, except for now having been up all night, pretty exhausted now.

SEO, I can get my head around having got my other business site onto page one and the number one position on google within four weeks of launching it, out of a possible 130M results.

What about webhosts, any ideas on who to pick?

I dont get you properly....There are 2 ways...Either you can goto Wordpress.COM and start from there with their domain name (yourname.wordpress.com) or your domain gets re-directed to them.... (Not advisable, as you cant put Ad-Sense ads)

Second option is Goto Wordpress.ORG and download the whole wordpress into your domain...This is the best method....For easy installation of wordpress,just goto Cpanel of your domain and under FANTASTICO there is Wordpress automatic installation process.

No, you understood me correctly.

I think what I'm also confused about is, what kind of sites need to have a blog onsite to attract visitors? Surely, blogging doesn't work with every venture. I would assume blogging is better for informational sites that make money off of Adsense as opposed to selling widgets through affiliate links, correct?
