| NamePros Regular | I am no expert, but I would like to give an opinion. My best guess would be the ___apts.com would be better mainly because it being shorter. Having __ApartmentsOnline would make the domain 3-4 words long and usually 3 words in a domain name is in the Grey area of being to long; although it does depend on the name |

| Senior Member | in case of apartments i would choose longer version. even longer it is more memorable and valuable than shorter one.

| Account Suspended | Apts is better as a brand name for yourself perhaps, but will google and other search engines recognise it in it's abbreviated form? Although the longer version looks long, if it's for yourself, realistically, how long does it take the average person to type two words on a keyboard, a split second that is all. Me, although I do conversational copy writing, have never been able to get my head around touch typing, I write with my middle finger only, but then still can manage around 40 wpm. In your case I wouldn't worry about choosing a longer name. If you were looking to sell names, I'd say the shorter the better. |

| Resident Psychic Forum Moderator | I personally would go with the longer version, as it will be much better for SEO and its a more general term, for developers at least, but the short one may be better for selling.
