.net popular in Germany? .com in Norway?

Two questions:

Is .net a popular extension in Germany?

Is .com a popular extension in Norway?

Agreed .de for Germany is most preferred by them.

So would a common German word .net or .org be worth much?

Specualtive and depends on name. Your niche market is smaller especially with a german name. Dot info looks to soon overtake that tld and has been around for a shorter period for them.

.de is by far the most popular domain in germany. Not much more to say about that

In Norway .no is the most popular, but more and more .com domains are coming into the market. You see more and more people use .com instead of .no. One of the drawbacks of getting a .no is that you have to have a registerd company in Norway in order to register a .no domain, hence more and more people in Norway chose to register a .com domain
