![]() | Buying non-English domains When purchasing domains in languages other than english, is it best to purchase the actual translation, including the extraneous accents or whatever is included? Or, is it best to simply purchase the word spelled out without the accent? For example, would it be better to purchase dīner.com, or diner.com? Maybe a bad example, since diner is a common word used in the US, at least, but that is the french word for dinner. I know that the foreign translation actually looks like gibberish when in domain form, but I don't know if this makes a difference for those using a keyboard other than the standard PC/laptop keyboard. I did a quick search of the forum but didn't come up with an answer. |
