I'm in my first few weeks.

I have registered my first 50 or so names.

Estibot values one at $170 - how reliable is this valuation???

If estibot says a name is $170, it is usually between $0 and $10 in the reseller market. Estibot will give you a "decent" ballpark figure, however there is an appraisal section on the forum if you'd like to have a person do it for you at no charge.

i think it can be quite fluid and relative.
I've had some of my domains appraised on estibot @ $70 , but i bought them on sedo for $80.
Estibot is quite a metric appraiser. I agree they give ballpark figures, but i not confident a $170 estibot appraised domain is worth $10 on any market.
