on how to market and drive traffic to it. All suggestions are welcomed.

I think this may get better response in a different area such as marketing or SEO. Here is a good list of things to do:

Thats a really nice site G, i am pretty new at this aswell and i have found that if you have a good domain with strong keywords the traffic finds itself; but if you dont as in your case you have to rely on PR links. Try to "buy" a spot on a developed site for some time and that will help drive traffic. I see that you already put your domain in your signature, its surprisingly fast how quick these forums get crawled. Also there are a bunch of articles and posts in the archives that will help you out.

You might get a better response in "
Marketing Techniques", but here a few tidbits:

1) Try using Google Adsense for PPC traffic
2) Advertise on similar websites
3) Offer a discounted rate for a week or so, kind of like a 'grand opening'

I have already begun to submit the link to some of the free directories that are listed on NamePros. I will difinitely look into the other suggestions that you all have mentioned.
