![]() | Hi kgrrl, I am new at this & struggling to learn my way around too. And this would definately be the case of blind leading the blind. But, what I've been doing is going into USTPO's TESS template and run the term w/o extensions and see if anyone has live trade mark on the term. If anyone has other resouces on the matter, help us out. Thanks! <UPDATE> Just found this page with more info. http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbi...trademark.html

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't worry about trade marks to much although I have no domain names that are. I listened to an attorney talk at domain masters talk radio show located over at Moniker. He stated that only 200 companies in the world could successfully sue and win on trademark issues. The companies have to be known by everybody (in the world) in order to sue. Here is the url http://www.moniker.com/domain-masters/index.jsp. It was an old show and it looks like you will now have to read the transcript. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/368181-trade-mark-issues.html Here is a newer trademark radio show. I am listening to it as I type. It seems more up to date. http://media.webmasterradio.fm/episo...6/DM122006.mp3 |

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=368181 isn't necessarily true. Then again, just hope no one sues you even for the most frivolous things for that matter. | ||||
