sunshine36 is an unknown quantity at this point

Please explain...

I am going to prove to you how new I am at this domain buying and selling game. I had a friend that suggest that I look into buying and selling domain names for some extra money, so I have. However, I have read and read some more and apparently I am missing something because I do not get the complete process of the game. My question is; do you buy domain names that has already been created with or without a fully developed website. Or do you just buy the name itself and try to sell it. Is there any money in creating JUST THE NAME yourself and selling it without any content? I suppose when my friend mentioned it to me I got this visual that create just a name that you think would sell then try to sell it. Not creating a website with content. I could use any help in someone explaining the process to me !!!! sunshine36

well, welcome to domaining
possibilities are endless.
you can:
1 hand register brand new domain and try to sell or develop it
2 hand register domain, which already was registered by someone else, but got expired
3 buy existing domain from somebody else
4 buy existing domain which have a web site on it
on and on and on....
BEFORE buying anything read as much as you can at least for 2 weeks.
