Means you can register a domain and have the opportunity to return the domain within a 5 day time frame. Some registrars allow this at no cost, some charge a $.25 "restocking" fee. www.moniker.com charges the restocking fee, there are others out there that do it for free.
The "tasting" becomes especially interesting if you want to find out whether a domain gets direct type ins and would recoup the registration fee through PPC parking. If the domain doesn't generate at least an amoung $x within the days of tasting, it's oftentimes recommendable to return the domain.

Hope this explains it.

Thats one of the things that tasting can be used for; to locate domains that generate type in traffic -> clicks -> revenue. If the domain is a dead fish after 4 1/2 days, you drop it and get your money back.

Rep can be given with the "scale" symbol on the left side of the post window. Use it wisely, not all posts deserve rep and rep is also time coded and cannot be given to the same person over and over again.

Hope this helps,

Dynadot allows 5 day tasting and gives a full refund in case you cancel the domain.

You check the traffic by parking it at a parking provider (sedo, bodis, namedrive).

Good luck,

alex

Yes, you can do what you want as long as it is within the 5-day period.

But I doubt no one is interested on a < 5-day old domain.

I use Dynadot and have always been happy with their "tasting" ability. They have a countdown (in hours) that shows you how much time is left for you to return the domain . They also process the returned domains fairly fast and at no cost!

Good Luck,
nscdn
