What is the "worth" of two letter and 1 number .nets (3 characters in total)?

Example RF1.net

LLn.net = 10-12$
others are reg-fee to 10$

they have not been doing good lately

but the prices will increase

They are cheap but general concensus is they are worth reg fee and I also agree over time they will increase. 3 years or sooner imho until they are $30.

I agree ....leaning towards the sooner..... that they are woth low to mid $$. But all in all the developed ones will be a leg up.(worth more)

The "network" connotation is ideal for short "net" names (imho). I'm looking close at the angle.

Imagine that .... an extension being used as it were entended ..... bah humberdinkleschnopps ..... is that a dot com yet?

I agree, been slow lately. I couldn't even hit $6 each.

Guaranteed though if you let them drop...they will get reregged. So keep em for now. As stated...worth reg fee which is only $5.50 to begin with.

So many have been dropping daily there isn't much of a market... unless developed and generating rev. Time will tell.

But then what's weird is I sell them @ ~$6-7 each but no one buys them, but when dropped, they all get regged.

yeah well there are people that ONLY buy drops and never visit domainer forums....odd but true

still i think that there are many people, who visits forums, who reg a domain but would not buy a domain from you for that same price. i think registering such a domain gives them a sense of pride and achievement

moreover, people are more alert in the Domains Available section rather than the Sales section

and the true is its very hard to find some domains on forums,

just if you:
a) have luck
b) look all sales

for example, you need to look for LNN.NET, NLN.NET, NNL.NET, or just NNL, LNN
so you need about 10-20 searches to just find an domain,
and there are no rules how ppl sell them.
Some just write "3 char NET" and looking for that search term is not easy

The odd thing is, I have seen many LNN or NNL and even a couple of NLN sell quite well. $15-$30! Very odd.

I think that it is the case that buying on the drop is cheaper in terms of time invested searching through forums and taking risks with strangers. Not odd. Good business.
