Hypothetically speaking if you had to choose one of these domains, which would it be? Basically, looking for a case study on how backlinks, PageRank, extension, price, and name relevance affects domains. Thanks.

www.joshmaker.com (tdnam $15 + reg fee)
www.blonde-xxx.us (tdnam $5 + reg fee)

blonde-xxx.us would have better seo value, but joshmaker has no hyphens (+1) and is .com (+1).

Blonde could be better for SEO, but joshh could be good if you want to start a trademark..
