| Senior Member | If the name is any good you may get an offer on sedo, but their fees will eat up your profit on lower value names. Also try afternic and tdnam which are both marketplaces worth considering. Direct marketing may also work but this requires a professional and carefully considered approach. For example, the name in your signature, wst.in. To look for a potential user, try searching google.co.in for companies in india using that acronym, or using it as part of their name. Compose a well written, polite email with your full contact details on there and list why the name would be a valueable aquisition for them. Don't be greedy with your asking price, try flipping domains for small profits first to build up a bit of cash and experience. This is probably best done on the forums. |

| NamePros Regular | Put it anywhere. You can also purchase some adwords clicks to get more chances to sell. Try to reach the guys that are selling products/services in that area. I Don't think that Adwords Keyword Based Traffic Will Help You, But You Can Focus on CPM Site Advertising. For Example: You have "diets.com". You can sell it advertising it on sites for nutrition professionals (forums/blogs). Diets.com For Sale. 5K Uniques a Month. Bla Bla Bla. auctionsite.com/diets.com Good Luck.

| Read HOT Domain Articles! | I have tried paying to get domains featured list on Sedo with poor results. I wouldn't recommend it. If you are just starting out I think free marketplace listings and domain name forums are your best bet.

| NamePros Regular | Sedo Featured Lists are fine for General Domains (that could be interesting for almost anyone). If you want to sell a niche domain, that service is pathetic. I had better results with Adwords Site Oriented Campaigns as described above.

| NamePros Regular | I've been registering domains on GoDaddy recently and was wondering what I would need to do in order to sell them here at NamePros? Do I have to wait before I can sell a domain? How do you push or transfer a domain to somebody at GoDaddy or any other registrar? I tried searching for this info but I couldn't find any threads. Let me know. Thanks! |

| NamePros Regular | If you register the domain yourself, or if it is pushed to you from another godaddy account you can sell it right away. If it is transferred from another registrar you must wait 60 days. A push is when you move a domain to a person with the same registrar. A transfer is when you move the domain to a new registrar. For a push You must fill out the contact information for the person who will be receiving the domain and then Godaddy will contact the recipient with instructions on how to complete the account change. To do this follow these instructions: Login to your GoDaddy account Click on or check the domain you want to push to another godaddy user Then click on "change account" button. On the right side, you will see the information you need to enter to push. Hope this helps Quote:

Just do not spend to much money hand-registering names you think are great - they most likely are not. Good Luck
