| Senior Member | That's most likely hits over the last 2-4 weeks since expiration. If from inbound links or SE listings, it could maintain. If from type-ins, it could disappear in a few weeks. Only way to know is research more.

| NamePros Regular | k1d, I bet you already know this but if you go to google and type in link:http://(domain name here), it will list all the links. You can also go to alexa.com and find out the most recent stats. I don't have any rep yet either, but if you would be so kind.... rofl --coast

| Senior Member | What has been said before is actually not necessarily true. Type-in traffic is far more stable and coveted than search engine or link traffic, so long as its not relating to a news topic or product that is no longer relevant. As there was a site here before I would say check what the site was on archive.org If it was on a topic that you feel you m,ay be able to monetise by parking the name then it should easily be worth the $5. Remember tdnam charge an additional fee to renew the name as well, but you can get a coupon to reduce the amount of this with a quick search on this forum. Best of luck, I have had several good names with low end traffic from the $5 auctions at tdnam. They're not always worth it, but you can find some bargains. Got one that made its $5 + reg fee etc (appx $13) back from PPc in its first month! |
