.name ??????????

I found a few good .name addresses. They cost twice as much as a .com or most other TLDs. Any thoughts or advice before I register them?

To be honest, .name isn't worth a lot...even if they are really good words they'll be worth A LOT less than their .com counterparts. The only reason I got weird.name is because I'm paying $3 a year for it.

Where did you get it? Domains.com wants $28 a year!!!!

I have upload.name and that isnt even that good. Go to godaddy they are like 10 a yr

Most .name domains aren't even worth their registration fee. My registrar is 1and1 (go ahead and laugh) and they had a special when .name was new for $3 so I took the plunge. The special is long over though.

nobody really buys .mobi. .coms and .nets are the main ones.

I can only remember one decent .name sale recently and that was fashion.name

I only own one and it's a surname which will be a a subdomain/email & family message-board type site.
