Even with thousands of unrelated backlinks, a site may get a PR 1 or 2, max. I talk from experience. (PS: Nice offer - Free Hosting - you have, David Amherst! Will try soon!) Last edited by YesBrilliant; 03-05-2007 at 12:37 PM. | |

Content is very important for your overall SERPs, but have nothing to do with PageRank.

| NamePros Regular | ok so bascially if you buy a name with traffic its worth something 1) resold to an end user or 2) if you become the new webmaster and constantly develop the site? if you park it with relevant ads you loose the pr quickly? so when searching for names to buy if i see say a site that used to be a snowboard site, i know nothing about snowboarding should i stay away from it because i dont have time to research? i should have added in my question is maintaining the pr the best/only way to really cash in on a site with traffic Thanks for the replies |
