Transfered domains Expiration

Hi

If my domain expires in 2010, and i tranfer it to another Registar, Expiration will be 2010+1 or this year+1?

2010+1
But the maximum expiry date is [current year] + 10
This is for .com .net .org etc
For other TLDs the rules may differ
