| NamePros Member | Whois protection/correct whois details One of the reasons i wanted to shift to namecheap was because of the whois protection thing. Now here is my question - how important is it to have correct details in the whois anyway?I have seen pretty big sites also having incorrect details |

| NamePros Regular | 1. Whois privacy is provided by almost all the domain registrars like godaddy, namecheap, domainsite, enom etc. 2.According to ICANN, you are supposed to keep original data. However, I think they are not going to catch you if you don't put correct phone number.
