How do you develop your parked domain?????

ok this is going to sound completely crazy to some....but i was wondering....i have about 13 domains i recently acquired over the last week....

i made the typical newbie mistake and purchased them based on google rank and link popularity only...most if not all of the 13 are brandable....(i.e. no funky names that make no sense to most people)...

i want to increase my revenue...cuz parking these domains just ain't gonna pay the mortgage...and help me quit my day job....
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/289883-how-do-you-develop-your-parked.html

i have no web developing skills...but i am very interested in learning....what is the easiest way to learn on line how to develop a parked website in to one that creates crazy revenue or increased value????...and with an average one developed....what is the potential for a good revenue from doing this.....(i.e being able to quit your day job)....?????

are there any newbie websites that anyone could recommend for further help...?????? i have checked in the web development threads here but they are a little too advanced for me...i need something that is going to treat me like i am a complete "dummie" when it comes to web develop (i.e. speak english ; p )

Honestly?

Never start a site to make money. Start a site to do something for people, and base it off of your experience(s). Then, you can add advertisements. However, they are a real turn-off for visitors to any new site.

You can learn some basic principles on web designing by watching the videos on this page:
http://www.nortellearnit.org/technol...page_Creation/

About the content you will create I would say pick an area you feel comfortable working with. Usually a good website requires continuous attention and lots of time to be dedicated. It is best if you like that topic that you are spending so much time on.

Wow I was just getting ready to make a post like this, i have a few domains that I think are brandable with timeand development, and a few others that I thought might be good, but have since learned that they are not. I guess my questions are about how to start developing?

The easiest way to make a simple site - take a template - plunk in your own text and data - upload to server - done. Now you can advertise, get backlinks, promote etc etc etc. Don't expect most new websites to get any traffic for the first three months unless you want to spend to make it happen. That's just the way it is. But with some patience and hard work your site will increase in the search engines and you will start to see some traffic.

There is of course lots more to it, so be prepared to learn by reading and asking questions. I make on average four websites per week. Some end up making lots of money, some make enough to keep them going, others don't do so hot. You have to be ready to experiment and try different things. You may have to change ad placements, or advertisers a number of times until you hit on what works.

If you are serious then give it go, but honestly if you only make a half-hearted attempt you will not succeed in making enough money to satisfy your wants and desires.

Submitting your domains to the directories is a great way to get free backlinks, and even some extra traffic.

I recommend using info.vilesilencer.com

Just do a search on Google for directories that pertain to your sites theme. For one, these directories will be more relevant to your site and give you a more quality traffic, and two, it will give you a better relevance rating with page rank.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=289883

Also, look around for other sites in your theme that you can do linking with.

If you have a background in business then approach it like you would any offline (real world) business. Basic idea goes like this:

Research which niche to aim for. Make a plan.
Set up a site or a blog and add content to it. If you have knowledge about the subject and are willing to write about it then write the content yourself or hire freelance writers.
Promote your site. Get links from sites that are similar to yours. Advertise. To make money you will have to spend money.
When you have a decent number of people visiting your site you can promote affiliate products and earn commissions
Rinse and repeat for other domains.

As always in life you will need money or hard work or both. If you spend money you will save yourself some work and vice versa. Technical knowledge helps but isn't essential. Links from other sites and advertising will bring visitors. Great content will keep them coming back.

I would agree with bentong, and I would suggest paying particular attention to keywords in order to improve the revenue you are receiving for your existing traffic

Personally what I would is to select a few domains (even just one), follow the advice of the postings before me, and put the rest of the domains up for sale! Since you have a PR and inbound links, you are already one up and some of the sites that are available for sale! Another option is to re-direct some of your domains to your main one(s).
