![]() ![]() | How to find a brandable name? I was searching all most all the day a good brandable name that should need to feet my future project. Finaly I've founded one.... I discovered something...that most big websites...brands use double o or double e in their names ( google, yahoo, meebo) So...may be this the solutions for a good name? Post your opinions about finding a good brandable name |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For me anyway. I just look at it like this. If you have a targeted project (drink recipes) you simply find a name that will show that. Like i use www.dailydrinker.com for my drink recipes website. Just find a name that suits your product. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | IMO the best brandable domains are to be found in the 5- & 6-letter names. Brand names like yahoo or google fall in that category. The good LLLL .com are long gone but there are still possibilities with slightly longer names. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/276501-how-to-find-a-brandable-name.html For example I have names like amatoo.com or nestoo.com I think these are good examples of brandable, pronouncable domains Also they sound like yahoo or wanadoo (which may be good depending on your purpose). However such names are also reminiscent of the pre-2000 start-up times (before the so-called dot-com crash).Tips to selecting a brandable name: - keep it short and rememberable - keep it pronouncable (it may sound obvious but I see countless posts for so-called pronouncable domains for sale, that aren't )- have enough vowels (see above)

![]() | Interestingly enough, a friend and I like to play word games to discover brandable names. Even a game of scrabble works.. who knows what you might find in the stack you receive. I find that word games really help in the domaining business because it really stirs creativity. Most dictionary words are taken... but those seven random letters you got in a scrabble game.. could be the next new business name. Really helped my friend out as he struggles with getting inspiration and creativity. Try even a set of scrambled letters.. I can't tell you how many times we've thought up some great names. One time we were playing a word game and came up with 'Skype'. Guess we were a little too late, huh?
