Any of you expert domainers ever figure out the the cost of developing an average domain, on average? just curious
Nothing special just some content and a nice looking site?

Well, I'm not an expert domainer, but I'd say a lot depends on how far you want to develop it. Sticking up a minisite and filling it with free articles and then relying on Adsense revenue costs next to nothing (the cost of your time + the cost of the hosting package), whereas turning it into a full-fledged website will take a lot more work.

Another alternative is using turnkey scripts. You can install them in minutes and can get them for some bucks.

It range from few dollars to few thousand dollars, depending how you develop.
