password protected question

i have a web site that has members and guest section. i have it such that all my members material is in member's folder on the server.

the problem is that the web site is asking for password not only when the members click on 'members entry' but also everytime they try to view videos in the members section. what do i need to do to have them input password only once, on entering to the members area.

Do you have more than one .htaccess file for authentication ? Check that the 'Realm' value is the same in all files.
It's one possible reason. Difficult to say without knowing how your files and directories are organized.
