Singular/Plural. Your thoughts.

I would like to get responses about which one will be appropriate for domains while registering. This applies for any domain extension.

For eg the following

1. Blog or Blogs

2. Credit Cards or Credit Card

3. Movie or movies

4. Girl or Girls

5. Woman or Women

and so on.

I would like to select any one , not both

It depends on the context, for instance, talkaboutmovies is better than talkaboutmovie, whereas myblog is better than myblogs.

But I want to know about single words, like blog or blogs . xx, which would be better. Both sounds similar.
