How much of an effect does age have on a domain?

I own a few 5, 6 and 7 year old domains (via archive.org), and I was wondering how much effect this would have on its total value.

Thanks

If it is a very good name then it does not matter. But if is just a OK name, age may give you a support value (min) value, so that your name is not just a reg fee name.

For example, I recently registered NewHeart.net, which has records dating back to 1999.

Although it may have records dating back to 1999, search engines such as Google don't see this domain as a 7 year old domain.

A whois search reveals Creation date: 08 Oct 2006 00:22:27 & Expiration date: 08 Oct 2007 00:22:27 and this is what the search engines such as Google as well see.

Concerning Google your domain is only a few hours old The above creation date is the age of your domain.

Even though your domain may have results dating back to 1999 it has no influence on it's age, if the domain still has backlinks from that domain being developed in that time, then that would be the advantage but your domain is not 7 years old.

It's been created again and therefor reborn again. Hope that clarified a little for you

Ah, ok. Even though google does not recognize the domain as being that old, would archive.org records have any effect on value?

Not really, if the domain has some backlinks then it would be an extra asset, but an Archive.org record alone doesn't ad any value.
Sometimes when a domain is to be found in Archive.org there is a chance there are still links linking to the domain.

Since these links come from live sites and have been around for a while that would give SE advantage thus some extra value.
