Can you use paypal for $1

Hi guys, not sure where to post this one - Can you purchase things by paypal for just $1 or is there a minimum amount.

And....is paypal accepted worldwide or is there some places it is not allowed to use paypal.

Yes, you can use paypal for $1... however, the fees will take a huge chunk of it.

And paypal is accepted worldwide, all you need is a banking account or a credit card.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply, any idea how much of a chunk ?

i'm thinking of offering a programme download for just $1 just wondering if it is feasable before I go any further

Thanks, a friend of mine would be the seller so basically he would be charged approx 30c on every $1 as a transaction fee - correct ?

Thanks for the info/link...So - It looks like at the very worse he will get at least 50 cents + for every $1 purchase made - I think he could live with that

If they haven't got US$s then PayPal automatically converts from whatever currency/currencies they have a balance in.

$1 is no problem, except for the charges

But Paypal "worldwide concept" is limited to 55 countries: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...ntries-outside

Are you familiar with Paypal? I must say that I have been using them for around six years now and I im highly satisfied with thier service and think that although they do have fees, I am certainly getting my moneys worth from them. Only one problem with a false chargeback and it did take almost 2 months to resolve but it did turn out in my favor and they were on the ball with thier communications and the proccess was fair.
