overture and type-in traffic

Hi,

I have 2 questions about predicting type-in traffic:

1. If I want to register a domain name, and predict the type-in traffic it will get, is the best statistic the Overture with extension score, or are there other statistics I can use?

2. For a .com name with mainly US traffic, in your experience how does the (US) Overture with extension score translate into daily type-in traffic? For example, can I expect an Overture score of 10 to translate into 10 uniques a day, or less.

In other words, in your experience what is the ratio between US Overture with extension score and daily type-in traffic? (It seems to me that a score of 10 corresponds to about 20 uniques a month (at best), but I'm still very new to all this )

Overture is showing searches from last month not last day, so if it's showing that yoursite.com have overture 10 it is 10 searches in last month. Also those searches are from Yahoo not from Google or other search engines.

the us overture does not show the scor 10 but other countries ovt servers does , about the scor right now in ovt is the new one starting from the 20th last month, domain with ext with good score check without Ext too
the domain with ext OVT usely i heard ppl saying how come a domain gets an ovt with ext why people does no just go a head and type the domain in the internet exp or other browsers instead of typing it in the search , well some does but the majority of the ovt score for domain with ext does come from users that try to type the domain with ext in the internet browser BUT goog and yahoo toolbar does redirect the users that didi not get the respond faster from the websites that they want to visit TO the yahoo or goog search engins , ( that does boost thyer traffic and $$...) but anyway , the yahoo toolbar is the one who does cause the domain with EXT to have scors , that mean yes there is people who tried to visit that domain( website) but they were redirected to yahoo search enging witha query of search : website.ext or domain.ext.
