| New Member | The most effective ways to sell domains I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on different approaches to selling domains. For example, is it more effective to sell a lot of domains at cheaper prices (volume, cheap prices like wal-mart approach) or is it better to try to attain premium domains at higher prices, but sell less of them... Any input would help. Thanks! Dustin |

| DNOA Founding Member | either way can work, if you buy a bunch of cheap domains and just flip them for double your price your sales will be more frequent but you have to keep finding new ones to buy, if you focus on higher quality domains your sales won't be as frequent if you are seeking top dollar for them but when they do sell you have made a huge mark up on them, personal choice how you wish to operate and good money can be made using either method, I have done both methods and achieved profits with both but I lean torward the higher quality and less domains approach currently. |

| Senior Member | Let people know you're actually selling the domain. Put in the whois "This domain is for sale" notice

| Senior Member | If you just reg and sell the names, it would be very hard, because there aren't many good names left. The amount of money you made does not justify the amount of time you spend. But if you are good at buying good names from someone and resell them, then you may make some money (if you are good at picking good names) |
