![]() | Domain and Nameserver problem :( Hello all, Well I'm trying to change one of my domains nameservers to my other servers nameservers. The domain is hosted at domainsite.com, but I keep getting this error when I try to change the nameserver: Quote:
I've run a report on DNSReports.com on the sever and nameserver, and everything check out fine ![]() Anyone know what might be happening? I think it's only happening with DomainSite.

| NamePros Member | I had that problem once and it turned out because I was cutting and pasting the nameserver in and there was a space at one end (can't remember if it was the start or end) Deleted the space and all was good. Hope your problem was as easy to fix as mine. Webtechi

| Senior Member | Must be a .info issue right? Have you tried this... I found this doing a google search: Option A:Login and edit the "main" .info domain. Create a nameserver under that domain (should be an option). Call it "ns1" or whatever, and assign it to the same IP address of your .com (or whatever other tld) nameserver. Then create another for ns2, etc. Now edit the nameservers and have the domain point to nsx.yoursite.info. Option B: Change the nameservers to Domainsite.com and wait until it resolves then enter your own nameservers and ip addresses. Option C: You need to e-mail Domainsite.com with your nameservers and IPs, and they'll add it to their registry, after which you can use the nameservers. This is what i have found out for you but i am not sure if it would be successfull. I suppose if you contact domainsite everything will be resolved eventually |
