Question the domains in the DNjournal sales

Hi

the domains we see weekly on the journal, sold for this and that price...

i was wondering, they are priced high, for some domains, they are sold for 20,000k+ , are they developed...or just for the name?

Thanks

Values are for domain name only. That is why in this week's report we noted that AnimeOnline.net was not eligible for the chart (sold for over $60,000) because it was a fully developed website with 48,000 members. In an ongoing business there is no way to separate the value of the domain name from other business assets and revenue unless the parties to the sale break out the value of each component (as happened with the Diamond.com sale), or if the seller is junking the developed site to build something new (and thus paid only for the name). Some names with minor development may be included if the development has added little or no appreciable value to the domain name itself. In nearly all cases that development is scrapped or vastly improved upon by the new owner.
