| New Member | I was offered $100 for maxxaffiliate.com (listed/parked at SEDO). I haven't sold a domain before and I'm curious if I should counter offer or just take it? I don't have a developed site for this one so I guess it's probably a fair offer, but I'd be grateful for some advice. Thanks! -scott |

| NamePros Member | I would say that's a reasonable price for a domain like that with no real revenue and traffic and without any development! You could try and negotiate a slightly higher price but be careful not to lose the sale. Although you may want to take into account that sedo will charge a minimum commision of $50!

| NamePros Member | Since you parked with sedo you lose 10% sale only. I recommend the same.Dont lose the sale. "No Minimum Commission on Parked Domains With Almost All TLDs! If your domain is parked with Sedo, you pay only a flat 10% of the sales price-- no more $ 50 minimum commission!"

| New Member | Thank you for the advice. I'm going to take a slight risk and counter offer slightly higher. I googled maxx affiliate and there are actually quite a few businesses out there using this or a slight variation for their company/business name. Thanks again for the help and I'll let you know what happens. |

| New Member | Well I took a chance and countered his original offer of $100 with $350. We then traded counter offers until I made a final offer of $225 and he accepted. Now I have to figure out how to transfer a domain and since I've regd this domain I've learned that I chose a potentially troublesome registrar (1&1). I hope the transfer process is relatively painless. Thanks again for the great advice and best to both of you. -scott |
