with most registrars the default is that the name is locked.
most have a control panel to either lock or unlock.

As stated there should be a feature in your control panel...if not check w. support.

Unfortunatly, when I checked with support, they said its not locked and I would need to get a transfer request from my new supplier. This domain is parked with a company already---is this the new supplier?
