There are only 6 (active) domain names that were registered in 1985

Here there are
SYMBOLICS.COM - 15-Mar-1985
BBN.COM - 24-Apr-1985
THINK.COM - 24-May-1985
MCC.COM - 11-Jul-1985
DEC.COM - 30-Sep-1985
NORTHROP.COM - 07-Nov-1985


Does anyone known if they where mroe registered domain names in 1985?!

However, big domain names like sex.com ; yahoo.com where registered only into 1995 .... ****.com is from 2001
If somebody knew...anything about the future.... i think she/he had register every single word found in the today dictionary lol...

The 100 oldest registered domains. Here are the 10 oldest:


1. 15-Mar-1985 SYMBOLICS.COM

5. 30-Sep-1985 DEC.COM

The very first domain registered was on March 15, 1985 and #100 was on November 30, 1987, a full two plus years later.

Looks like you have the only 6 domains registered in 1985.
