The two services that I've had the best success with are Snapnames and Pool, IMHO.

If you know the exact date that it will be dropping ("PD" + 6 days), you can try to manually register it ... of course, this depends GREATLY on its perceived value (others may place backorders to secure it ahead of it dropping on schedule, etc)!

All the best,

PS. GoDaddy snatches work okie for GoDaddy registered domains, IMHO.

I have also used Snapnames and Pool. These days mostly Pool. However, is there a way to increase your chances of getting the domain by using multiple services or would that increase your price?

I am wondering - there are a few companies that always get the best domain set to drop. What advantage to they have?
