![]() | Expired Domains Hi, I'm new to domains. I just noticed some random domains in my niches of entertainment content sites that have expired and some of these have PR of 1, 2, 3, or 4. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/227139-expired-domains.html how come people don't pick these up more? First I thought I landed a gold mine, being able to register new domains with PR already and probably some backlinks as well. Then I got a bit scared because this isn't talked about more or isn't done more. How come? Isn't it worth it to get a domain that already has PR. If it is a .info you can register it for 2 bucks then! Otherwise, still, 7 dollars for a PR domain seems really good to me. |

![]() | I dont think you can grab them.Because in most cases it will be picked by pool or snapname or other people. If you could, thats miracle.may be if u need those names you will have to bid with them,no point in keep watching expired domain names imho.

![]() | No I mean I found them in expired list places. Like no PR 4's yet, but I've heard about them. I found three PR 1's and one PR 2/3 each. But I spent quite a few hours going through expired lists like pcnames, etc. And I also found out two of my domains ps3-talk and gamers-market both expired and are available. I forgot about them and just re-registered. Both PR 3.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | PR is very fragile especially with expired domains Dmoz for example has a bot to exclude expired domains from the directory In Google may stay longer but certainly you must research the domain a lot more to see it has at least some traffic. Incoming links will give you some visits even if the PR drops (even from google dance)

![]() | I see, can PR drop before the PR update timings? Because since the PR updat happened in the past month, I don't expect one until October or so. Or can PR be dropped from expired domains at any time (if it was not faked)?
