just wondering should I change the ads? like the main title of the ads to black to blend them with the background or keep them as they are?

i think you should add a vertical block along the left hand column - statistics show that is perhaps the best placement for ads

Ive always read the horizontal ones while reading are the best.

or having a vertical one in the top left hand corner where a user would normally use the main menu.
