Which would you recomend?

Hi everyone.

As you will be able to notice by my NP at the side, I am slowly getting my way to getting a domain, and I also have some domain credit to help. I only need about 100 more NP to get my first domain.

My problem is that I own a website that has a fairly long name, but I don't want my domain to be too long other wise people might forget it.

I couldn't get the initials of it as it would be LLL and I know that they are very hard to get, plus I've checked the availability of it and it isn't available.

So I would like some help from you experienced domainers, as to which of the following I ought to attempt to pursue.

1) zetaboardresources.net - This is the long version.
or
2) zbresources.net - The shortest version I could probaly do.

Hi Toolbox123

First of all, why does it have to be called "zeta board resources". Have you considered a name change? It might make all the difference if you want a brandable domain name that can be spoken of to other people and remembered.

Secondly, is funding really that bad for you - or is it that you don't have paypal or credit card to use? 8 bucks or less is not much when converted to pounds - a couple of beers maybe

Well, Zeta Board Resources is the name of my site, which is why I think it should be something to do with it.

Also, it gives out resources for Zeta Boards/Invision Free which is why the site is called what it is.

Fully agree!

Anyhow, zetaboard is only taken in .com/net/info... maybe you should consider to register one of the many other tlds too?

If I want to develop a website, I would never have the domain name more than 8 letters. And i will use dot com only!

yourzeta.com is available, plenty of others too- there's a domain suggester on my site domaininglinks (in sig) which might yeild something a bit shorter in the .com for you...
