Use sedoparking DNS or FORWARD the URL?

I've been domaining for a few months now and I have always either developed the sites or parked my domains and pointed the Name servers to NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM etc. I noticed a thread on the Sedo discussion board about forwarding your domain names.

Here's the thread (about keywords etc.)
http://www.sedo.co.uk/forum/index.ph...id=&language=e
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/195011-use-sedoparking-dns-or-forward-url.html

If you do what they are explaining in the thread, forwarding and using keyword masking, what name servers do you use? Still the sedoparking?

Which is better? Forwarding your names or just parking with the name servers?

thanks!

you would have to set the nameservers back to the registrar you are using default parked nameservers and then use the forward/mask option. I personally just change nameservers because it is quicker when dealing with a bunch of names then individually forwarding a ton, plus I have heard search engines do not care for forwarded pages, debated topic, so the choice is up to you, I understand the throw in your own keywords deal with the forwarding, just more of a time issue with me. I have all of my parked domains currently parked at namedrive with the nameservers changed, I also have all of the parked domains set up at sedo ready to go, should namedrive run into problems for a few days I can do a bulk edit and just change the nameservers and all parked pages will pull from sedo instantly, with the forwarding you would have to remove forwarding from all of them and then change the nameservers over, not a huge deal, but I prefer the nameserver change because it is quicker.

Ok, thanks Jay, I'll just leave them for now. I thought maybe I was missing a great chance with manipulating the keywords myself.

not telling ya not to try, you can definitely test 1 or 2 and make your own call on which one works best for ya as you could put in your own keywords, just saying with a bunch of domains it is easier to just change nameservers and there are some pros with the opinion that search engines do not like forwarded pages, unless you use frames/iframes which generally work well with search engines.

I've got about 70 or so names so maybe I'll just try a few.

Thanks so much for your help!
