Hi,
I sold a couple of domains at TDNAM, I would like to know how much time does it usually take to get the payments, and what is the procedure ususally?

Well, they do not mention anything about it on the website but here is what they said

I WILL HAVE TO WAIT for 30 days, THIS IS INSANE, THEY MUST HAVE ATLEAST HINTED ABOUT IT THAT IT CAN TAKE THAT LONG.

Quote:
Thank you for contacting Customer Support. TDNAM holds the funds for the payment of the domain for 30 days (in your instance, approximately May 24th). After that time, you will receive an email notification that the funds will be released to you. (Once you receive that email, your payment will be in your PayPal account within 5 business days.)

Please let us know if we can help you in any other way.

While the FAQ page says nothing except the following in that matter

Q) My name sold at auction. When do I get paid?

When your name sells at auction, The Domain Name Aftermarket automatically contacts the winning bidder and requests they send us the payment for the purchase of the domain. Once we have verified receipt of the buyer's funds, we will contact you and instruct you on how to complete the transaction. If you have not received an email notification from us, we are still waiting to receive the buyer's funds. You may call The Domain Name Aftermarket at any time at (480)505-8892 with any further questions.

they keep pay per clicks

Why would they do that? Is it possible they are parking the name during that time and the parking money is reverted to them? That would be tricky.

I just got an email reply, I asked them why they hold the funds for 30 days and this is what they said...

"Discussion Notes

Dear Mike-

Thank you for contacting Customer Support.

This is our Transaction Assurance period, which generally makes sure
that the seller of the domain name receives their money, as well as
makes sure that the buyer has appropriate received the domain name in
question"

LOL, notice the first thing they said, " the seller of the Domain name receives their money " yeah right, after we sit on it for 30 days and gain interest. The company I used to work for used to do this with their clients money but on a much larger scale, is it right...no... and as far as the second part about the owner receiving the names, ever heard of whois TDNAM, I even showed proof that the names were transfered via their own system/site.

dumb, dumb, dumb...
