![]() | Developed v Undeveloped Hi everyone, just wondered if you could help me out with a little query. We've got a few UMPC domains and we're thinking of developing at least one of them (when we decide which one, lol!) to increase the value of the domain, and then looking to sell. BUT... is a developed site actually increasing the value or can it put potential buyers off? Thanks everyone, Helen Self-confessed domain newbie

![]() ![]() | First of all the value of the domain name would depend on it's potential, it's extension as well it's brandable value. If a domain has good potential, is brandable and is a .com or .net name it would sell without any need to develop. On the other hand if the domain has less potential and has a less fancied extension, developing a mini site or a site which is relevant to the name would increase the value of the name to some extent.
