| Senior Member | I agree, if you wish to develop the name then you can register it from cheap registrars. If you intend to sell, tranfer or push the name in future then better go with a reliable and reputed registrar.

| NamePros Regular | Yahoo isn't VERY bad. There are few 'rules' you'll need to follow in order to be on the safe side: - do NOT register EPP-based domains there (i.e. com/net ONLY), because Yahoo will NOT give you EPP-Authcodes; - don't forget to delete transferred out domains from your Yahoo account (as they call this - 'cancel the plan') once the transfer is finished successfully.
