Smile What Timespan for Transfers??

What,s the normal sort of time it takes for a sold domain to be transferred to the new owners registrar. I know it,s probably different with every registrar but I want to know the average acceptable time that it takes.
Thnx

Typically 3 days for .COM domains, but there are a few variables that could make it shorter or longer. The losing registrar losing the name can release the name fast or drag it out for 4+ days.

.ORG names can transfer fast. I've had registrar changes completed within 24 hours.

Depends on the registrar. Some of the more low brow ones take longer. One of mine is still waiting for the transfer date even though the transfer has been initated for the past two weeks. I have contacted the registrar and they say they can't do anything (which is of course a load of bs--they are just trying to hold up my domain on me)...
