| New Member | Best Place to Register Domains hi. i'm looking to buy some domain names for investment. where is the best place to register domain names, without hosting? i'm already with midphase hosting. i'm only looking for the cheapest place to register .com, .net domains and then host them with midphase. |

| NamePros Member | godaddy seems to be pretty cheap. But I personally have a domani reseller with axe9 domains ( http://axe9.myorderbox.com ) pretty sure the guy is using someone else's API... but it gives me a pretty good ammount of control over my domains, and my customer's domains. it was a free signup with no money down. Can't get much better deals. But there's also like Enom and places like that for reseller. Hope I Helped! btw as a reseller with axe9. I get domains for $7.50/year for all extensions.

| NamePros Regular | I have been using domainsite.com a lot recently. They are very easy to use, and have some of the cheapest prices I have seen. namecheap.com are also a good registrar, in my opinion. They have an excellent control panel, but the prices are a little steep compared to other registrars. |

| Senior Member | I use GoDaddy but also have names with Enom and Domainsite. If you are going to use GD then check out this thread for discounts. Thread: http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-...nal-codes.html

| Senior Member | If your thinking about GoDaddy you might want to read this. GoDaddy shortens the redemption grace period by 15 days (compared to most registars) to make a few more bucks. http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-...ml#post1100810 |

| NamePros Regular | I have a WildWestDomainsReseller. (same as Godaddy) www.domains875.com I pay $99/year subscription, I set myself up as a discount customer. then I buy domains from myself for $7.14 .com's + 0.25 per transaction (you can buy many domains in one transaction). I'd be happy to set any namepro member up with the same discount plan i use myself. you'd get to save the $99/year subscription. I wouldn't get anything out of it. except maybe some referrals. its not as cheap as when you find godaddy loopholes but the prices cheap and consistent.

| NamePros Regular | domainsite is 6.99 .com's for the basic registration yeah thats cheaper than my reseller. i'm not sure what the BASIC means i guess you don't get forwarding/masking/email/.... but yeah if your just parking them you'll save 15 - 40 cents.

| NamePros Member | I use NameCheap, they have a really good control panel in my opinion. $7.99 domains however so you might find them cheaper somewhere else.
