Help - How or what to collect related to domain stats?

Hello,

I posted yesterday and realized I missed asking a big question. Often I hear that buyers what to know the "stats" for a particular domain or Web site.

Question:
What are the various stats that should be collected?
Where can these stats be researched or found?
What are the most important aspects / metrics that are important to end users VS aftermarket buyers?

If some of this doesn't make sense, I can follow up with details as this thread unfolds.

Different domain parking companies give slightly different stats. Some only list the total # of uniques. Others also include stats specific to continents and/or what searches were done.

EDIT: you can also go to urltrends, alexa, google, etc. to find out more info such as backlinks, page rank, reach, etc.

You can collect stats for your web site by adding some code
to your webpage. You get the code from a website that collects
thoses stats for you. I use http://www.statcounter.com
If you go to bottom of the page on website http://www.spanish.cc,
you can click on "Stats" and you will see the statistics that
http:www.statcounter.com collects for http://www.spanish.cc

Also, if you're looking for stats on a website, not just a domain name, the hosting co. should have a basic record of uniques. I also like to see Adsense stats to get an idea of the kind of revenue a website can generate.
