Is there anywhere that you can get a free top level domain??

Not that I know of. If you post enough QUALITY posts here, you can get a free domain, paying with NP$. You used to be able to get free .INFOs but that offer was over a year ago.

You're not going to be able to get anything absolutely free - you're going to need to put some work into it.

You can't get them for free, but I mean they're only about $8, its not too bad.

These, I feel, are pretty good domains and were... FREE

try http://my.dot.tk/
only requires an intermission ad and 30 visitors in 90 days. they might change the terms

Good thing you reminded me, they'd come in very hand in a little project I'm working on. What are dot tk's like with google or even other search engines, I never seem to come across any in results?! Any idea?

well probably like any other tld supposed to work. they also have upgrade options if you want to get rid of the intermission ad.
